THANK YOU for your patronage!

Your purchase of the official carry bag has many benefits! Read on ….

During the fair, you have a reusable catch-all bag to collect and carry all your things!! This 100% cotton fiber bag is lightweight on your body and breathable (great for sunny days) but also durable enough to protect your new stuff from dirt & scuffs. The Alameda Art Fair banner is personally hand screen printed by Cotton Turner, The Printmaker, a local artist.

You will have a chance to learn simple Shibori binding techniques, Sharpie alcohol dying, and a printmaking method utilizing stencils and spray paint – you’ll use these mediums to decorate your bag and make it uniquely yours! This bag helps to remind us of the importance of creativity and tells others that you shop local small businesses!

10% of the proceeds go to which exists to promote and support the arts and artists through programs and events that enhance and strengthen the community. ArtPUSH is responsible for bringing the fun festivities of the Alameda Art Fair to you year after year, bigger and better each time!

This activity was brought to you by Yolanda Cotton-Turner, an Oakland based visual artist, fine art printmaker, and community instructor who works as a resident artist at (a nonprofit for children’s art education) in Oakland, CA and offers workshops in conjunction with the (A Bay Area Artists Collective).
